These are a resent purchase from the Flea Market. A cloisonné vase and hinged-lid box, both are in great shape. The box seems to be very old, the gilt interior is almost warn off, it had a lot of fingernail polish all over it, but I was able to clean it off with remover. The vase is 8 1/4" tall x 3 3/4"dia. The box is 4 7/8" x 3 7/8" x 2 3/8"h. including the 5/16" feet, the lid has a slight curve to the top, it is decorated on all sides, top, and bottom. The inside has 6 etched in birds on the lid, and a bamboo plant on the bottom. There are no identifying marks on either piece.
The large tray is wood, and the small standing tray is inlaid lacquer ware. the hands dish is ironstone ware from the 1880's USA.
Thank you for looking, any comments, information, or questions welcome. :^)
I'll post some close-ups of the hands dish, next!
