I know it's a long shot.. If anyone happens to know anything of this statue? It's wooden and heavy. Don't know the age or even if its something that was made currently or if it's the 'real deal' so to speak. Know what I mean?. Thanks for checking my posts.

Just a guess - probably a chair and probably of African origin. I have no idea about the age but I love it.

I'm not really good about these things - it could probably be just as easily Micronesian.

Thanks for all the comments guys.. Although i dont understand what "a Head for a head" means or what a "sign for the head, mani" means either lol.
Thanks Manikin for the info. I'll check into that. Much appreciated =)

It appears to be carved out of palm tree, very porous. My guess is South Pacific. Where was it found? Some close ups of the face, design panels and back of the chair would help.

Hi kamikazeNxt2theCosmos . I will explain that comment for you that bb2 put a head for a head . Not sure where you are located but in USA the toilet is often called "The Head " so it actually would mean a head on a toilet as the top of figure looks like a face . So head is toilet and bb2 is our fun guy we love him he keeps us on our toes . Does that help ?

i would just call them both 'tiki figures'. they both look interesting and i'd love to have them, but i can't see them well enough in your photos. i had a friend named Boomer in San Francisco who was an amazing carver of tikis and he made us a beautiful one for our house in the oakland hills. it was gorgeous! and Boomer was/is a very talented carver / sculptor! i've lost touch with him, but would love to find him again. take better pictures of your items - close-ups and use all 4 photo slots and tell us where these items were found and what they are made of and what sizes they are. i hope this helps...

Might be radioactive with that Japanese melt down.
A lot of things have washed up to the west coast from there.

Totally Polynesian. No doubt. I never find great stuff like that after storms! I'm near San Mateo coast.
