The paint seems different on it. Enamel?
The bottom is polished flat.
Not sure much on this one, just very pretty.

It's beautiful SpiritBear. I've not seen a stem vase like this with enamel decoration before
Oops, not sure what happened there, my PC's on a 'go slow' today
And my internet's not able to load any images. LOL.
Nice piece glass !!!! SpiritBear
Thank you, Malkey.
Thank you, nutsabotas6.
I think it is Danish : Fyens Glasvaerk. Made by Bohemian migrant works in the late nineteenth century in Denmark.
What makes you think that?
That straight form. It is quite particular. I've have some pix of some Fyens pieces from an original catalogue somewhere.
I might be wrong about the factory.
Might be Arhus Glasvaerk rather than Fyens.
They blended. I think.
In this auction photo there are three vases that are said to be Arhus ... but that one on the left might be Welz too. Mind you it is possible that Welz xowkers went to Denmark too.
Note the straight form of the two on the right.

Aarhus is better than Arhus. There is an accent missing over the A.
CW does not do accents I think.
I have a to agree with Kevin G , hes very very knowledgeable about his glass !!
Well, they are similar. Thank you, Vetraio.
Destroyed today in shelf collapse. We believe the cat jumped on it, which knocked the shelf down.
i,m so sorry SpiritBear to here of your very unfortunate loss !!!!!!!!!!!!
What I found interesting was that this and another vase, both of thick glass, were in many pieces yet the thin chimney to an oil lamp that fell with them was totally intact. LOL.
beautiful. sorry about your shelf...YIKES!
vintageartworksU33, thank you. I still have the pieces to it. Not sure what I'll use them for.
