The first three are of a large painting that I feel I did fairly well on. The original price tag on the back says $225.
I paid $12.
I don't think the person pricing at Goodwill realised it is a real oil painting, as almost any painting is always over-priced there (and very rarely underpriced.)
The other I just really liked all but the house well. Pretty good price on it a neighbouring thrift store, as it is also an oil painting.
Neither are very old, but both are very pretty.
Oh, as of yet, my parent hasn't noticed that I hung it in the living room a few days ago. LOL.
Never tire of looking at these classic paintings. Great find.
Very pretty SpiritBear, The first one, reminds of something that PBS art instructor Bob Ross, would have done, minus the "how about a nice little house, about here" part, and maybe "some little fence posts", that he would have put in! :^)
Thank you, Bill. I'm afraid I do not know of him. I stopped watching T.V. and similar, several years ago.
Thank you, Caper Kid. I also like such pieces.
Thank you, Ms. Crystal Ship.
