    Irishcolle…
    (137 items)

There's no point going into detail about how these items were used for blood letting because they have been well explained in other posts. The fleam with the brass case is stamped on one of its blades with "J. Fenton & Sons, Sheffield"
The fleam with the horn handle has one of its blades stamped "Frederick Reynolds, Sheffield". Both of these companies were also well known as makers of open razors.
The chrome example might be better described as a lancing tool of some kind and any further information on it would be welcome. It is stamped "Fannin Ltd, Dublin" but they did not make this item but were suppliers of all kinds of medical tools to the Irish market. The case is stamped "Made in England" but it has no makers name.
