Recently inherited this from my mom and don't know anything about it. There's no maker listed on it. I love the pictures inside the lid. Can someone tell me how old it is and whether it's okay to clean it up without affecting value? Thanks!
Looks like an early 1900's flat top trunk. Many companies made this type of trunk at the time so without a makers label hard to know which one made yours. This trunk does not have a high value so you should feel free to clean it up and make it nice for yourself. Thanks for the post and welcome to Collectors Weekly!
