Hello Followers, Visitors, Members and Friends from Collectors Weekly, 19-03-2017, 11:30 AM
Here we are, my post number #600, what a journey in the glass collecting field, there being up and down, I learn a lot lately.
I have many piece of glass making there way right now, this little LOETZ Squat vase as came first, so I believe this one deserve to be the 600, in CRETA ground color with a nice light Blue Papillion texture, the iridescent is spectacular.
On the picture #4, beside a Candia in the same shape, acquire when my Journey begin, what a beginning.
I remember on one of my post years ago, Graig AKA “welzebub” mention to me and I quote “I think in this case, the key would be found in locating the same shape in a more easily identifiable décor. “
Today I realize what this mean more then ever, by adding a vase in the same shape in different décor make all those marker (in this case LOETZ) but together a very intrigued puzzle but make lot of sense.
I have many nice piece of Bohemian glass with no ID yet, so lot of work to do in my case and make this practice a way to solve this problem.
This vase stand 4.25 inch tall, 6.25 inch at the widest portion.
Many Thanks Everyone for Viewing.
Alan
