Here are two Fenton Glass pieces I found at a garage sale today, $8 total. Yeah! I know the green in a dot handkerchief, it does have a very nice sticker on the bottom. The blue one has a fenton mark/ stamp on the bottom. I am not sure what to call the blue piece. They both are approx 8.5 inches tall. My mother also found a large Amber dot compote and two milk glass hobnail candy dishes, $16 total. Just what we spend our day looking for!
very nice finds, but they are probably worth exactly what you paid or less...people dont really collect the amber or colonial green color...so their worth next to nothing...a shame! keep them and enjoy them. thanks for sharing!
Thank you for all your help. I am just starting my collection, so I love what I can get without having to pay for shipping :). Do you know what the design of the blue one is or about when it was made? I would love the ones you have but don't have the budget quite yet haha.
im guessing the blue fenton one is the late 80's-90's. i think it is called the wave pattern. yes the hobnail glass is very expensive especially if bought online, but nice pieces can still be found at garage sales and antiques shops for reasonable prices...maybe you'll get lucky and find a treasure! thanks
I bought a very pretty vase 16 days ago online and still haven't received it. I hate waiting lol. Thanks for all your knowledge, it's always interesting to talk with people who know what their talking about.
oh no problem! glad i could help. i love talking with people who love the same things i do. thanks for sharing.
