I found this early Loetz vase while rummaging around some shops last week.
It comes from the 1885-1887 period. The vase is approximately 10 inches by 5 inches. The decor is green spreading to yellow with hanging enamel flowers. There are 4 indentations around the sides. The glass is opaque and quite heavy for its size. Dr Kai Hasselbach has a article in Loetz.com that discusses and shows photos of these early Loetz production pieces.
