The combination hatchet in the first picture is my favourite and also has a hammer, turnscrew, and slot for pulling nails. 9.5 inches overall with a 2 inch blade, it was made in Germany.
The second picture shows a flat hatchet head with a 4 inch blade which would have fitted into a split handle.
The last tools are grocers hammers. I probably should not include them here because the flat sides were intended for prising open the lids of crates rather than for chopping but I'm sure they were used as hatchets when the need arose. The smaller one is made by Spear and Jackson.
