I bought this amber pendant months ago. Upon closer check it looks like the silver was once gold-plated (I noticed it only after I checked the photos today :D )
The pendant is stamped with makers name (first sign is not readable, then russian "ja" letter and then K) and with russian hammer & sickle in star mark and 875 silver mark (used after 1958). On the star left side there is something as well, from what I saw on internet there could be a letter indicating russian city, but again, this is not readable for me, might be russian "g". Any ideas? (pls check the detail photo)
Update:
The maker was identified by Vladimir as the Kaliningrad Amber Factory. Spasiba :)
Really nice!!
Thank you Efesgirl! Glad you like it
The first printing is "? ?" "???????? ???????????" it is the seal of the amber factory in Kaliningrad!
I do not understand why this site restricts writing in English only! On my language is written in Cyrillic and some things can not express in English!
Thank you Vladimir a lot! I googled the factory, it is very interesting!

Ah, I understand it now, the "ja" is for "jantar", amber. Amber is called jantar in slovak language as well.
Simple, but beautiful !!! :)
Thank you martika - agree!
