Wilhelm Kralik lidded dishes are a special obsession of mine, for their shape, colors and ingenious designs. I started with collecting all Czech dishes then little by little They started to grow in four distinct companies- although I probably have pieces from ten or more firms. These three are strong Deco in shape; Cir. 1925-35.

    1. Iris decor with millifiore (on cobalt foot)
    2. Iris decor with confetti in beehive shape
    3. Millifiore with pulled decor on crystal base
    4. How they fit in to the other czech glass

good question, I've always thought loetz but the shape is similar to a Ruckl too. I'm not opposed to two companies using the same decor

I am in the same opinion for this lidded jar, this look like LOETZ Ausfuehrungen-237, Wonderful post and what a group of glass.
      Regards

I believe the piece in question in the middle of the front row is by Loetz. The ground color of the piece is pretty indicative of Ausf 237 production.

There are possibly at least 3 other firms that made a similar décor, although they are a little different than the Loetz version. .

One of the firms is unidentified, and a bit darker overall on the exterior.

Another example, found on an unidentified form is reasonably similar to Loetz, but the shape has been shown to not be theirs. although the source of it is unidentified at present.

The other known example is found on a pretty distinctive shape shown in the Ernst Hantich & Co. poster from the Tango Exhibition. They were located in Novy Bor. In the case of that example the ground is clear, and it has an internal lining in a kind of mint green color. From the outside, without a view of the interior, that version of the décor is pretty similar appearing to the Loetz décor also.

Shake your head all you would like Lisa.....

I was simply providing some additional information about other examples of the decor. I am not exactly sure what you are shaking your head about....

Oh, unless this is the "I commented here first rule again". ROTFLMFAO

I did not say the decor or shape was in the Hantich poster, what I said was that a décor quite similar to Ausfuhrung 237 is found on a unique Hantich shape found in that poster.

Relevant is always a matter of perspective isn't it??

Believe it or not Lisa, every comment I make here in CW is not in some way a back handed insult to you. Get over yourself.
My comments were directed at Jericho, someone I have been friends with for a long time.

I would have to go to one of my Loetz books to say for sure, it's so hard to do on perfect hiking in wildflowers to a watering hole day like today is. Lol,
