This was found in a wooden crate up in the loft of the Auction House. It was in the crate with some other farm implements such as 2 Dehorner/Dishorners, and a couple more that Im not really sure about and will post them as well...the only marking on this one is 47. Inside the circle on top, there is a trigger of sorts and when pulled, there are 2 blades that come out and will lock. To disengage pull the lever/trigger and slide and the blades are retracted. Can' t find any other markings on it. If anyone has any knowledge as to manufacturer, possible date, and exactly what this was used for, I would greatly appreciate it.
