I got this Marx 595 train six years ago for my birthday from my Grandma,
She had a limit of $10.00 for Birthday gifts.
She gave me this train on my birthday.
I was very happy with this train. plus it was a great gift.
Les be honest Grandma's don't always give good gifts.
but my Grandma always gave me great gifts.
This is a great gift from her. it was one of the last gifts I got from her be for she passed. I don't run this train that much, it was from my Grandma who was extremely close to me, so I just display it so nothing will go bad with the train. I do run it once in a blue moon to make sure it is in running order.
I will always remember my Grandma for many reasons.
her love and care and the same interest in trains.

Lucky you to have had such a great family connection. We were too poor back then to have had toys like this.
Cool!
Like those 595s and 591s
Nice to run and are good cheap fun!
