Here is an item that I found a little while back and after some research this is what I found out. It seems some of you would enjoy this being collectors of this sort of thing.
It is an interior door steel sign that had been placed in Texaco tanker trucks. One per truck that was always placed on the passenger side door inside. From my research the company first started to call itself Texaco Inc. in 1959 and was called The Texaco Co. prior to this from what I know. This sign resembles signs prior to 1959 with the only different being it says Texaco Inc. instead of Texaco Co. It seems to be one of the first variations with the new company name on the sign. For its age it is also in great condition not being rusted through and having little to none of it.
As one can see empl0yee is misspelled. Whoever did this must have had to put the sign together early in the morning after a late night out! : )
Thank you for looking as always and have an awesome night my friends! What is left of it anyways....
