    The mystery item has been revealed. If people enjoyed the game I will do this with more pieces in the future.
    As can be seen in the photos this is a 3 piece item, the sifter and 2 removable cups. It probably seemed like a good idea at the time but people already had measuring cups and various bowls. I am not seeing anything on the net close to this.
    The top and bottom both have.....

      I'd guess the idea was maybe for recipes that tell you to sift the flour twice.
      But I haven't baked in so long I'd suspect that's an outdated method.
      This is a very neat item!
