Vintage Onieda Victor #2 Double Hinge Trap

Well I think it is a #2. The number 2 has 4" jaws and this one has 4 1/4" jaws. Probably close enough. They are animal traps not space shuttle parts. It is 14" overall.
There are three reasons I wanted this trap. First is I did not have one this size.
Second reason is it seems to have an interesting color. Seems to have a greenish tinge to it along with the orange. It is rust but I will call it patina plus.
Number 3 is that there is cumulative effect when collecting. Especially glass. But also with traps. One item may look nice but sometimes it needs a few friends. Plus it may make more logical sense to have several. A trapper would have several traps and not just one. That and I think they all look nice hanging together. I am still thinking of moving them outside in a semi-covered area. Lots more room out there.
