This lamp has been handed down from family members. My wife's aunt said it was Tiffany she was was owner/purchaser. It has (2) sockets which have been replace. There are no identifying marks that I can see on the outside of the base or inside or outside on the shade. Height 24.00" width of shade 20.00" base measures 6.500" .
I have used nail polish remover on the shade and there was no effect on it.
She did own several expensive antiques that why I'm not sure what this is.
it's a very nice lamp, but doesn't look like Tiffany to me.
The base of Tiffany lamps almost always carried a Tiffany Studios stamp with a number. Many of the glass shades were also stamped.
Hi coxy86, it's a lovely lamp whether it's Tiffanys or not. May I ask, why the nail varnish remover??
Hi Vintagefan
I read somewhere that if the color was removed on the shade that it was painted. Just looking for anything to help identify.
Ahh, I see. Thank you, I'll remember that one :)
Good luck with the ID. It's surprising there's nothing on it at all.
Table Lamp is early Bradley & Hubbard or Miller. Their early fixtures were excellent and not all marked. I have a lamp with a nearly matching shade. Great glass when illuminated and nice metal work. Prices $700 to ? depending on where you live.
Beautiful lamp!
