This lamp has been in the family since I can remember. When I was a child I would go on Summer vacation with the family to my Grandmother's house. This lamp was in the second living room on a table. I do not know who made it or where it originated from when it was made. If anyone knows these answers please let me know. Thank you!

      I love it!
      Is the shade all metal?
    2. StarSapphire_, 8 years ago
The main part of the shade seems to be like some kind of plastic material.

Its a tole lamp, standard shape for shade. Possibly made in late 60's to early 70's when they had such bases and were part of a large import and export trade that was going on in California and across u.s. and canada.

Thank you PhilDMorris. I do know it is a bit older than the late 60's though because I am older than that and as a child remember the lamp in my Grandmother's house in the late 50's . Could it still be a Tole Lamp?

would there be a marking somewhere on the lamp?
