Yesterday was my lucky day. I found this necklace in a thrift shop
for only € 1,00!
It's 68 cm. long and has no clasp. The largest bead is almost 3 cm x 2,2 cm
and the smallest bead is 1,0 cm x 0,6 cm. The weight is 56 gram.
The necklace feels different than bakelite. It smells different and it floats
on salt water. Amber or Copal?
I think it's pressed amber beads.
That's quite a find! Apparently, the shop employees thought it was just plastic.
Thank you for the love nutsabotas6, aura, vetraio50, kyratango, ho2cultcha and racer4four.
Thanks Bonnie, in that shop the employees do not look at jewelry at all. They are only looking for gold.
It looks to me (based on the photo) more like real amber. I have some pressed amber necklaces and they look more even in colour.

Very beautiful with different shades of that warm color! Wonderful!
