Looks VERY ITALIAN to me !!
I'd love to see more photos to help me understand exactly what I'm seeing.
Looks cool though!
antiquerose, from what I can find in searches I also believe it's Italian Modern.
Yes -- It has this type of Flair like those ceramics from Italy. Very Mi-Modern flair. More pics would be nice in the post here of your lamp!

My thoughts on this lamp - for what they're worth. This is most likely made of a material called hydrocal, which is a type of fortified plaster, and while the style is very much like that of the 1960-70s Italian pottery it may not have been made there. Many lamps of this style were made in the USA as well. Any Underwriters Laboratories label (maybe on the socket?) would almost guarantee US manufacture.
Artfoot...seems your thought have some worth. I just looked at the plug...which does appear original...and it's marked Leveton! Good ole USA!!!! I wasn't stuck on the idea of Italian made...but I did believe it to be of mid century Italian style. There are so few I've located on the internet...only one other on Etsy...I didn't have any ideas on how or where to search. Thanks!
antiquerose...I posted another photo. Best I can do for now...the light is quite heavy!
The colour palette reminds me of some of Roger Capron's ceramics...

Capron's ceramics atelier also produced lamps, bottles/ vases similar in shape to your lamp, and items decorated in repeating geometric patterns, but putting everything together - the same palette, shape, geometric motifs in a lamp - unfortunately I've not seen one by Capron. Also, a Capron would be signed.
Capron's influence would have been in the 1950s/ 60s/ 70s.
A Capron would also be signed at the bottom.
Oh, you've just added it's a pendant lamp. It looked like a lamp base.
I'd go for Fratelli Fanciullacci.
Vetraio50....I was thinking the same. Colors and patterns quite similar.
