I have had this vase for a little while and don't remember where I got it. I was cleaning out a cabinet this morning and came back across it. I was hoping someone might be able to identify the mark underneath and let me know what it means.

Its the PROC mark for People's Republic of China, 1949+

It is a very pretty yellow vase, the stamp mark is probably end of 2oth or so. Thanks for posting.

well is this the proc mark for peples republic of china ?

i think this chinese colloquial , and it has to read the taiwanees way namely Zhongguo Taoci

the second thing we got to do is the dating concerning taiwan roc , because the proc periode has a very long timespread

so we have to narrow by means of excluding the TCR period 1966-1976

so there is no addendum on the mark so its after 1976, and then we have to narrow it down concerning the top of the timespread , and that is almost impossible
