Vincente Garcia de Paredes Painting/Hand-Colored Lithograph (?) In Original Frame. "The Return of Lafayette." I am not sure what this actually is. It appears that paint has been applied, so I assume that it is a lithograph (?). Signed in the lower right-hand corner. This was found in an attic and was covered with a thick layer of dust which may have helped it to keep its colors more vibrant. Any help appreciated.
czechglass, Thank you for your very interesting comment! They are always appreciated!
czechglass, Love the essay...love history. Thank you!
Hi there. I'm also trying to track down the history of this painting for my brother, who bought a copy from a flea market. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Any info would be greatly appreciated!

oldpainting,
Not a whole lot, but I believe that mine is a painted lithograph. Prices are all over the place. I belive some are older than others. I have mine on my wall and I love it. Let me know if you find out more.
