      It's a stereoview, not a negative.

      It is a stereoview depicting part of the Gettysburg battlefield. The view is part of the "The War for the Union" series. The series was popular during the Civil War and soon after-- those with tax stamps on the back are very desirable.

      The scene determines value. Yours, being Gettysburg related, is sought after.
