Hello CW friends,
This is a Japanese flea market find. I love it to chunks but I don't really know how to describe it. I say brass but I'm not even sure if it is, it could also be gold plated, I see tiny bits of black metal underneath the golden layer in some places. Other than that it's in great condition and shows a very nice and soft patina . And I say art deco but I'm not sure about that either, LOL :-) The small dots are loosely bound to each other, which creates a very nice movement when wearing the pendant.

It's a design taken from old chain mail/chain link type metal purses.
This is so neat! I imagine it looks great on, swaying with your movements.

I'm with Tassie...looks like Whiting and Davis mesh purse. And, it looks like she found one! You have found no markings on it? Even on or near the clasp? It's really cute!
