This sign was picked with a collection of 24 other various advertisements. It is dated 8 - 25 - 1917. It is about 1 ft. wide and 2 ft. long. The material is cardboard. Very unique and in decent shape for it's age. It's location of origin is Chicago Illinois and the stores address is prominently labeled. Great piece of history, please give back any feedback you may have. Thanks!
Right size to be used as an advertising sign in trolleys or trains. Had a friend who was replacing his bathroom floor and found same size advertising
Signs under the oak flooring. Even with nail holes he got a few bucks for the ones he could save. I went with him down in the basement and looked up and could see other signs between the cracks in all the oak flooring throughout the house. He found out that the original owner that built the house worked for Plymouth Brockton Railway back in the early 1900's. He loves the oak floors so they are still there to this Day!!!
