I'm guessing it's only 50 meters between two steep hills?
In the list of international road signs it is listed as being a bumpy road ahead sign.
OK people. It means speed bumps ahead. "Sleeping policemen" is often used in Eng. islands & maybe elsewhere.

This sign is very common here in Mexico warning of Tope in Spanish short for speed bump ahead.
