White is a relatively uncommon colour for Japanese glass but they have and do use it from time to time. This group has two older (1970s) vases and a newer (2000s) vase.

The two larger vases are both labeled Kamei and show a similar style glass necklace. The larger vase is iridescent, the smaller not, but both are quite lovely. They are thickly cased in clear glass, and quite heavy.

The smaller vase has a TGK Pine label, and although the name is familiar to me I know nothing about the company behind it. It's a little sweetie, with a satin finish, and has some little ceramic flowers glued to the front. I've seen this style of vase from Pine before but in different shapes, and all were white and with little flowers.

The tallest vase is 25cm, smallest 11cm.

Are the vases in these two posts what you were going to sort out over Easter. If so well worth it! I shouldn't pick out one, but I adore the the tiny one......the mat surface enlivened by its flower is so appealing :)

Very nice-I especially like the one in the second pic. Very nice form and iridescence.

Peggy I wish that was all I had to sort, but they were a start I guess. I'm having some weeks of May off work and an hoping to get stuck in to some boxes (sad hey).
      I like the sweetie too.

White is a classic beauty. Perfect haiku. :)

I thought you would get the haiku Katherine, being all literary and stuff. I just pretend....
      Thanks for the love!

Don't know if I get it in the intellectual sense, but do feel and appreciate Japanese haiku and poetry. Your combination of the two art forms is pure delight. :)
