Pictured here is a Sterling Beer hanging lamp. Although collectible, it also serves a useful purpose in the garage area.

That is nice -- What size of Bulb do you have in it? Looks a like big and strong and would not want to damamge the lamp...LOL.

      I am a worry-wart.....LOL

Good point....its a 100 watt flood light that hangs well below lamp shade. I had the same concern at first. Thanks for the comment.

The heat still may damage now ( or in time ) as I bet it still gets hot air trapped in there. When it such nice condition.....I would be putting a low watt bulb in it, as it is too beautiful to damage. Plus the heat may cause damage to the color, or even the seams may weaken.

I would be YIKES..........with that big bulb !!

      ~ That's the Mom in me talking....LOL

I'm with AntiqueRose on this one for sure!
Way to nice a lamp to chance the damage of too much heat.
But if you choose to leave this bulb, please repost in a year so we can all learn whether the heat did damage or not. It may be tougher than we think.
      Very nice!
