These two bowls are quite typical of a lot of the Japanese glass seen here in Australia, most now without stickers. I've been guilty myself of removing stickers in the past, so can't blame anyone when I have trouble with identifying makers.
I like these two bowls, not just because I know who made them, but also because they are representative of glass from Japan in that era. They are colourful, shapely, nicely clear cased, hot worked, and very well made.
Both around 18cm wide.
Bowls with windows, very prettily done. I totally get the wish to have examples that represent a style, an era of whatever it is you collect.
Such colour and natural curves. They almost seem alive.
They are gorgeous.
I love them.
Thanks
Of course you get it Peggy :)
Thanks for the love!
Thanks Doctor. I did not appreciate them much when I was younger but now recognised their quality and attractions. Glad you do too.
Such form just begs you to touch.

Great colors, wonderful shapes. Reminds me of something.....
Thanks Rose, sorry I missed your comment. 27 doesn't sound hot to me, but then 0 doesn't sound cold to you. It's all relative! Enjoy your summer.
Very much in a Sanyu style Dean, and similar to a bit of the Murano stuff too. Thanks mate!
Hello there, lovely pieces! I've been trying to identify a glass vase I have on collectors weekly. & the latest name suggested to me on another glass group was Iwatsu. I can see some similarities when browsing online. Would you be so kind enough to take a look at mine? I'd appreciate it an awful lot, thank you!
