I have no idea what the model is or even if it is a collectors piece.
I have the number K9626335 as a serial number and the model number,
    I think as BZK 5-12.
It appears to be in full working order complete with a complete set of attachments.
    Any help would be appreciated.

Try this website and just answer the questions in order.

The link may or may not work for you. I just noticed the voltage plaque and this was made for use in Europe.

Do you have photos of the front of the machine? Also try to look for a number in a nameplate or base of the machine, not the motor.

That is the serial number for the motor. The serial number for the machine should be underneath on the frame.
      It is likely collectible.

Under the machine stamped into the base is Simanco 33681 16. Does this help?

I can't find pictures of the front, but it appears to be a 185K. The serial number for these is stamped underneath in the edge of the casting either at the centre front or near the bobbin

      Hello spiritbird.

I have exactly the same kind of sewing machine. Did you ever solve the mystery?

      Hi, phoenixbadger. :-)

CW user spiritbird seems to be long gone, having only posted and commented about this one item some four years ago.

What model Singer their machine was never got fully resolved. The model and serial number on the motor pertain only to the motor itself, and not the sewing machine head, but Bernadette was probably right that it's a model 185.

It's a bit difficult to tell, because spiritbird never posted a picture of the front of the machine.

Ordinarily, I'd suggest (as fhrjr2 did four years ago) that you use the Sandman's Collectibles Singer ID tool to confirm that it's a model 185, but the tool doesn't cover that model, or indeed most relatively modern domestic Singer models that have their model numbers on the body of the machine.

If yours is indeed a model 185, the model number is probably at the top of the stitch regulator panel on the front of the machine as seen here, partially obscured by a screw:

      https://stitchnerd.files.wordpress.com/2011/07/singer-185-stitch-regulator-8248.jpg

How old your machine is can be roughly determined by finding the serial number (somewhere on the underside of the machine head chassis), and then looking it up in the Singer serial number tables. The serial number should start with a two alpha character prefix of AN, EN, EP, or ER.

FYI, I did a rough search for that model in a concatenated list of all the Singer serial number tables, and there weren't very many made, only about 684,310 (believe me, that's small compared to some models).

If you find your serial number, report back, and I'll give you more information about your machine.

However, it's really best for you to make a post of your own with pictures of your machine, including one of the serial number.
