Brass picture frame.

Yet another thrift store swoop piece.
This appears to be brass and weights just over 3lbs.
Measures: 12 1/2" high x 9 1/4 at widest point.
Holds an odd size picture at 5 1/4" x 3 5/8"
I think it may be prettier with the silver paint removed, personal opinion.
I highlighted the support stand as it looks as if it could have some letters in it, what do you think?
And I'm gonna go out on a limb and guess it's art nouveau style?
I so need to learn the different style names.
