You saw it! BUTT chisel. It's the kind you use for butt hinges, NOT FOR ACTUAL BUTTS! Lol I don't know why they have butt in the name, but for some reason it seems like an unfortunate name. I have included a photo of a portion of a page from the 1912 catalog. The page shows the chisels and the roll they came in. The roll is shaped like the patented Keen Kutter logo and has 5 slots for the chisels. The Keen Kutter logo is also found above the slots. It is also found on the blades of the chisels. Apparently, the logo is found primarily on blades of various tools and cutlery. Judging by the size of this piece, these were available in different lengths.
