    (180 items)

I guess we can call this a collection, I dropped 2 bags of garbage off at the dump today and as usual I took home more the I got rid of, I only took what was easy to reach out of the recycle bin that's 300+ DVDs mostly John Wayne, Computer Games 150+ Hunting like Cabelas Big Game, Turkey & Fishing and a stack of Tiger Woods Golf games Plus Programs like Word & Photo Shop and there must be 2 or 3 times that still at the dump, Most of the Games won't work on Windows 10 (or 8 or 7) however I needed a few like 10 jewel cases so I was going to take 20 or so but 20 turned to 50 to 100 to 300, Maybe I will tile a wall with the disks HeHe Any one running Windows Vista or XP? LOL FREE stuff!!!
Also picked up c50 new drill bits, Don't need them but how can you pass up new drills at that price $0.00

John Wayne movies are fun. I do my big game hunting at flea markets and antique malls.

I will go thru and dig out all the John Wayne flicks, Many look to be home made disks so I will pop one in and see how it works, If they have commercials Ect.
These had only been in recycle for an hour, were on top and still clean.

    7. PoliticalPinbacks PoliticalPinbacks, 8 years ago
Now how are you going to expand your mind if you don't sit and play games for hour after hour? ;)~
Plenty of Photo editing, Family Tree, Word and other software if ya want any.
If you or anyone else has privacy concerns you could get a P.O. Box for a month, last one I had was $20.00 a month however you can get a smaller one and they put a note in it to pick up at desk should a package not fit.
I started sorting so if anyone want's this that and/or the other I'll be able to find it easy enough.

I am running out of English cds and movies here in Mexico. I don't know if you want to ship out of America.
    9. PoliticalPinbacks PoliticalPinbacks, 8 years ago
Your in America roddyq LOL I will check into it I don't now if there's duty tax or how Customs works on shipping but I will check it out, So far it looks like all the DVDs are John Wayne movies, Not sure if there's any English Learning type CDs is that what you meant? Looks like 50% or more are Hunting Games for Windows Vista and XP

I'm from Canada and now living in Mexico for how much longer not sure as my next and hopefully final stop will be Australia PoliticalPinbacks as my son and new 6 week old grandson are there. My son was born in Australia in the 1980's when I was working there. The shipping and possible duty to Mexico will probably be pretty expensive plus the Wall Tax lol. I appreciate your open offer to fellow CW collectors and forgot about the duty charges I'm sure you will find some interest closer to you. I will be going to America to visit my sister at her winter home in Florida and will stock up on dvds and cds then. The climate in Mexico is good for me of course it will be perfect in Australia.

Australia is very nice and with a new Grandson CONGRATULATIONS!!! I can sure understand why you would want to go there. I will still check the shipping out never know it may not be too bad, HE has a fat chance of getting North or Central America to pay for "his wall"
I could use some of that kind of weather the older I get and the fewer friends and Family I have here, Florida winters are sounding better I have a Sister there also.
Anyhow I will check into it.
      Peace

Thank you I receive new photod anf videos of my grandson every day from my daughter inlaw. She doesnt want me to miss a thing she is so thoughtful. You never know maybe the shipping wont be so bad. My old bones dont need the cold Canadian winters anymore. Maybe you will move closer to your sister Florida is so nice.

Ha ha ha. Why do men do this ? Go to the dump and yet don't return home with an empty car !!! Fun find
    14. PoliticalPinbacks PoliticalPinbacks, 8 years ago
1/2 the time I bring home more then I drop off, Free dump day is the best people empty out there garage or barn even working motorcycles, pinball machines just tons of good trash LOL

Nice of her to keep in close touch like that, Life flys by so fast he will be done with school before ya know it.
I've thought about moving to Florida but there's a huge price difference from Northern Michigan, A real nice 3 bedroom on a few acres is under $80,000 here (because there's no jobs) and $250.000+ there S.S.I. won't cover that LOL but have given some thought to selling out here and living in a motor-home everywhere.
    16. roddyq roddyq, 8 years ago
The motor-home sounds like an everyday adventure. No bills to pay only gas, food, and parking space. There would be so many interesting people to meet in your travels. I almost bought a place in Arizona a few years back for around $100,000+
there were many houses on the market.

Our 2-bedroom (pretty small, though) was 59,900 in a very good neighbourhood off the road from, one way, a state park, the other, an area you can shop or eat in (a couple miles away each). We sit within a mile in 3 directions to a High School and two Elementary schools (happening to be part of the best public school district in West Michigan) plus a Montessori, and we're between (half a mile the way the crow flies, a little more to find parking) 2 separate lakes (including Lake Michigan-- I hear speed-boats all summer long) and yet another forested and dunes park other than the state park-- anddddd, the police station, if there were no trees, I could see from my house, but they never turn their sirens on from the station (AKA, the paranoid can feel more secure here). We sit on a lot in front of a trees and small stretch of woods (it stretches on quite a ways, but only in one direction)
Only in Michigan do you find it that good for that cheap (the house had been fully renovated 10 years ago, for those of you who paid a lot for a house and are wondering if mine is a dumper).
Set this house in similar surroundings in California.... My mom would be good on money for life. LOL.

SB Sounds like a nice home and very good area with Lake Michigan and all the rest so close plus a great price for the west side the N. E. has been behind the rest of the State for decades maybe during the lumber boom cutting old growth forests the price per acre here was closer. I bought this place 7 years ago largely because of the view out front I'm up on a hill (they call the Michigan Mountains but you know we have no such thing) I can see about 8 miles but only out the front the other 3 sides are wooded, And because it's a well built 1920 Sq. Ft. 3 bed 2 bath (much larger then needed for just me) for 67K only on 2 acres however it's next to the Huron National Forest that's close to a Million total acres (978,900) town is only 2 miles away but it only has a part time police Dept. closed at night and most weekends so the paranoid's arm them self LOL Not too much else around less trees, lakes, rivers and wild life but I like it that way. This place was stuck in the early 1970s with a lot of yellow, orange and bright green with shag carpet everywhere and a fair amount of wood paneling so I dumped 13K into it when I moved in so if I sell now I'll about break even however it's due to be paid off in 2019
I lived on a in-land lake for a few years and loved it however I don't miss hearing the speed boats every weekend LOL
    19. SpiritBear, 8 years ago
Ewww, shag rugs never should have been. Our last house, when we moved in, was all yellow. LOL.
