This silver pendant came into Geri's shop the other day. I couldn't pry it away from her (LOL) so I photographed it at the shop. Neither of us have seen one quite like it and would be interested to know the significance of the Sun, Moon, Star, Arrow and Hammer. I didn't find anything on the web resembling this pendant. I wonder if it might be connected to the Shriners.
Thanks for any info!
Bonnie
Wow, it is nice and It does look Masonic to me too. It's almost got that symbol I can't figure out on my ring but this is for sure. I don't know what step or position one that had this would have held. They had different pieces for stature. I hope that made sense.

I know sometimes pintrest doesn't do much good but there are two different ones on this page that if you put them together they would just about make up your piece...or your friends piece. I did see where it is antique, Victorian...that's actually how I did my search.
Hunting, I not seen one with so many symbols on one piece... Hunting
A start, Freemason symbols are subject to somewhat different interpretations across the many Masonic jurisdictions in the world.
This looks like York Rite (rather then Scottish...)
The center lets say Hanger shape = Senior Warden
The Square and Compass with the Sun @ top = Past Master
(The Square and Compass alone =all Freemasons are in unison)
This is getting deep Egyptian hieroglyphic, Roman Symbols, Greek Alphabet & Hebrew SO FAR
Still hunting....
The Gavel = Master of the lodge, I think the item @ 4:00 is a trowel working on that.
More on the Sun and Moon
-The Sun causes DAY—but the Moon causes NIGHT (opposites).
-During the Day it’s HOT—but at Night it’s COLD (opposites).
-The Day is Hot and filled with LIGHT—but the Night is Cold and DARK (opposites).
Male - Female
Aggressive - Passive
Dominance - Submission
Thus Yin - Yang the idea that the source of these twin opposites is a third power?the power of balance. In the Yin-Yang symbol, this third power of balance, or unity, is visibly depicted by the circle. (With no beginning and no end the circle is a symbol of eternity.)
Hunting...

@shareurpassion > I know little to nothing about the Masons, but I see that PoliticalPinbacks is on the case! :-))))
Thank you, PoliticalPinbacks, for all the research! I'm also still looking on this end.
:-)))
There's a "spring into action" at the top. Actually it's just a guess! Lol
Likely a good guess Lou with "spring into action" that was drivin me nuts
So,.. it shows the compass , square and level and the placement of the compass shows me it for 2nd degree work....
Wow. PP was all over this one and did a great job. Love the interpretation!~ And the way he updated it. Love, love that!
