A lucky find in a job lot :-))
The grapes are frosted uranium glass, pic#2 shows the intense glow under UV torch.
Unmarked gold, only the dangle has a faint "deposé" on the stem.
This design was introduced by the French firm Fonseque et Olive in 1889.
4.5cm wide.

This is a particular one, with the detailed secateur, the leaves on mine are less finely made than those in the links...
They may wear French hallmark, maker's mark F.O. or "déposé".
These uranium grapes are very distinctive for the maker :-)

What a fantastic find! It's such a stunning, special piece. I love how the vine leaf turns purple under UV, the entire brooch takes on a completely different life.
