    I picked this item up at an estate sale recently and I am looking for more information about its history. From what I can tell I think it might be from around 1890 but I am not exactly sure. It has a length of 38in, height of 26in and width is 22in.

      Nice looking trunk except for that broken latch. J.S.S. would have been the initials of the owner and Denver would have been home, I guess that is pretty common for trunks.
