This is an early- to mid-century wooden wall stippler brush manufactured by Hanlon & Goodman Co, New York. It’s a fine-crafted wooden brush with beautiful corner frame joinery, nicely shaped for easy holding and handling. The bristles (which appear to be horse hair) are still very thick. And the patina of the wood gives it such character, too!
Would love to get a better idea of the age of this brush. Any thoughts or insight?
