Interesting, but I must admit the one with the twirly end reminds me of them stakes you put in the ground to hook a dogs chain to.
I'm looking forward to what you learn here on CW, welcome aboard!
I'm sure someone will come along who knows what they are. Good luck!

Political Thank you. It is for a painting i am doing for my brother. He sow the tools, but not thr painting. Said that tools for a campfire. He is a civil war re-enactor, scared me that it wasnt what i thought it was. I worked hard on the psinting.
Thank you Thank you
If they are iron, they wouldn't be used on a gun without a copper touch hole liner. The cork screw one would be for getting debris such as remnants of a friction primer. Amer. touch holes were fairly standard at 1/4" diameter. If they are larger in dia. than that, forget all I've said. There are lots of things that are made similar.
If the shortest piece is 6" then the corkscrew is 7/16" in diameter.
Cool item!
The one with the large loop easily passes for a vent punch (punches a hole in the powder bag) , the other probably a vent punch. The corkscrew end is large for a field gun, to short for larger guns & the ones I've seen & had, had a different styled screw. My opinion is that they are gunners implements, especially when it's known that many lost/misplaced implements were jury rigged.
Bullet worm.. for barrel cleaning.. or..?... Corkscrew..
