My dad and i watch American Pickers ALL THE TIME! It just something we love to do together. So, for fathers day , i wanted to get something that my father would appreciate and cherish, that had meaning. Well, my father is in love with anything to do with cars or old oil antiques. I came across the oil can in Georgia and fell in love with it! I would love to get more information on the object, i believe it has a lot of character. I would like to know where the object came from and if it has some sort of value.

Montgomery ward was a department store and also had a mail order catalog that carried everything and had a service dept. you could by furniture, appliances, clothes, and tools and auto supplies, your can looks 1930 but dont qoute me, just a guess. My 2hp compressor and AC/DC welder came from MW back in the 70s and still work perfect, I miss that store.

I grew up in the Akron, Oh area and we had a couple 'Monky' Wards there. They went under back in the '80s I believe.
