Now I realize that I promised my husband I wouldn't bring home any more nude ladies, and at 15 inches high there's definitely no hiding her. This 1930-40s Pacific pottery bubble dancer vase just needed a good scrubing to uncover its beauty.
Nice vase sarahoff, I really like Pacific Pottery, but I don't have anything that large! Great find! :^)
This is one of the classic pieces of Pacific molded artware. It should have the number 4600 in the mark on the underside and was likely added to the artware line in the early 1940s. As far as I know, the designer has yet to be identified.
Thanks guys, yup my hubby usually likes most of the treasures I pick up but not so much with this vase.
I REALLY love this!!! Thanks for sharing!
Can't you use the the saying..."I'm really surprise you have not seen it before..it's been there for aaaaages!!!!"...:-))...like it!..:-)

You're too funny inky!
The Schiffer Collector book on Pacific Pottery by Jeffery Snyder thought enough of this vase to put it (and its companion) on the cover, just to give you another arguing point.
Artfoot I think she may be growing on him, I just checked out your show and tells and love your love of color!
