There is a lot going on with this little beauty - from the outside you see combed threads of may green and highly iridescent silver pulled up and down over a bronze ground, but there is also a lining of red that is apparent if you look through the vase from the inside. Looking at it from the bottom, you can see that it is properly signed with the engraved Loetz Austria signature, and you can see layers of both colors in the center. The remnants of an old paper sticker are also present - my guess is that this is an old retailer's sticker or price tag. The PG and shape numbers are unknown -the signature dates it to between 1899 and 1903, and my intuition is that it is from the early part of that date range.
Wonderful Warren...:-)
