Young recruits

I'm not sure where the military is getting these cute young recruits but this one looks a little small for the big helmet and giant 50 Cal machine gun on the Half Track! I would have given anything to have access to cool stuff like this when I was a kid! This is a grandson playing at the Lakeside Storage Free Museum in Provo Ut.
As a side note: the saying: "The whole nine yards" comes from the 9 yard belt of 50 cal ammo loaded in each of the guns on a P-51 Mustang in WWII. When u shot the whole 9 yards you were out of ammo! That's the rest of the story.
