Here's another random item from the 'miscellaneous old electrical things' collection.

[suggestion to our hosts: an 'industrial electrical' category of some sort somewhere would be useful! :-) ]

This is a cute little GENERAL ELECTRIC 1/20th HP motor. 115VAC, 1725 RPM, it only measures roughly 5" dia. and 7" long or so. Still runs smooth rotating in either direction depending on how its hooked up. The number "EQ7892" is stamped on its frame, I don't have a clue what that indicates. Likewise no clue what this motor's original job/purpose was, it was acquired already "loose" from whatever equipment it was once part of. I'd guess it dates from the 1940's/50's -- if anybody knows anything more about it please speak up?!
