Ausführung 216 is a decor that came in a variety of color combinations, and this is one of the best, in my opinion. The contrast of the opal violet ground and the imperial red applied rim and drips is sharp and striking. The production number is known not from the paper patterns, but from a catalogue page reprint shown in the back of the Book of Paper Patterns for Glass (Lötz Böhmisches Glas, Band 2).
