I've had this little cup for along time and never been able to find out much about it.
I can't actually give you the right measurements as it is still packed up..but! it is quite small around 3 inches tall, smaller rather than bigger.

It's such a pretty little thing and normally because it is so small has pride of place on my shelf...I think its quite old and in the 'flow blue' style.

I would love to find out something about it...does anyone recognize or can read the marks on the base?

    Many thanks!...:-)

Thank you..kyratango and brunswick for the help with..Chinese or! Japanese...:-)

it is an japanese dai nippon sei combination , but the kiln is unknown to me, the application and the way the mark is made , looks quite new to me
    14. apostata apostata, 1 year ago
i am getting nuts here we are dai nippon commited , for politcal reasonb ( turnmoil ) we ought to commited or taisho or meijji, i just don,t it is not SEtO can,t break this, sorry

this might might be a good idea, maybe they leave HAKUUNDO out and what left is MADE BIJ SHUBEI - DAI NI HON

when i am right which i don,t know and it is still SETO only of the son probably

His father probably which the japanese equivalent Haakuundo ( = white cloud hall

if you hit i don,t know , it is very decent stuff , well done

    16. apostata apostata, 1 year ago
it might make sense , they made a smokescreen out of this probably his son , the left the SETO mark out, suns of a gun, cheating old farts
