A chalice , quite heavy , I think its French silver, approx 12 inches tall.
It unscrews , so I feel it must be recent. Cant decipher the makers marks.

Examples in the link are more elaborate but nevertheless yours cannot be later than 1939. I suppose they had a wide selection of church silver to choose from.
