Fully restored and in superb working order. Jarrah tinted case veneer, french polished, movement cleaned and serviced. This is my personal clock, it is small and weighs in at just under 4Kg. By far the smallest and heaviest clock I've handled. The movement is built like a freight train and shows no sign of any significant wear after 80 odd years of service. They don't build em like this anymore!
Last picture shows the replacement bezel added recently. Replaced as the old bezel was sagging. The replacement from same era and style, is a full swing out. No previous nail holes are visible even when the bezel is open, thanks to the right filler and surface treatments.

Paul, just started following you on this site because I like the restoration work you do.. had to laugh though when you mentioned you went to clocks because they aren't as heavy as player pianos! My passion was for antique furniture before my neck and back told me otherwise. Still do furniture from time to time, but No kite large and heavy pieces. I mainly stick to case restoration and I use a clock guy that works on movements. Take care....

Bryan, I truly loved restoring the player pianos, but it just got too much, the lifting, moving. I've restored about 2 dozen and my back just can't do that anymore. So restoration of clocks seemed a logical step. I think I actually enjoy these every bit as much as the pianos. Same era, same stylish units. I will restore components of players if asked, I don't charge labour so it makes repairs and restoration affordable for the owners. Anyway, I appreciate your comments and it's nice to meet you here. I'm also impressed by the work you do as well.
