Sooooo, who here knows a lot about Beatles memorabilia? The back of the pin is marked: "ges. gesch." to indicate that the design is patented/registered. Looking at the pin hardware, it definitely looks old to me - 1960s, perhaps?
Hey, Thomas - got any info for me? :- )))))))))
Thanks for coming by!
Bonnie
Love it yeah yeah yeah ;D
Better construction then many I think it was made in 1964
This is a cool piece for sure.
Nice find, but you always find the deal of the day....everyday!
I think I miss many nice things from not having the knowledge, but I'm working on that.
I found some cool earrings I'm gonna post soon that I THINK may be vintage. Can't wait for your insight on them. But meanwhile, I posted what I think is a vintage purse with (maybe) Bakelite handles. I'd love you to check it out when you have time:~\
Good eye for spotting this. A Beatles fans' dream here! Did you happen to see anything on the sides/edges? Wonder what the 'R' is, is that the 'registered' mark??? I definitely think your right about the 60's. Nice find girl!
@shareurpassion - thanks!! I'm pretty sure that the "R" stands for Rickenbacker, which was one of the guitar brands used by the Beatles.
Nice find Bonnie. My brother is a huge Beatles fan so I showed him your guitar and he said its diffently from the 1960's.He has one made of glass with the Beatles name embossed in it.
Very cool Bonnie :) I remember when the group first came out everything seemed to have The Beatles faces on it.
It was made in Germany...
BeatleJim55 - Yes, I know. I'm 15 minutes from the German border. :-))))
