Generally, I like to see if an item has any value, so I went onto e-Bay's Advanced Search and looked to see if any have sold recently. One did, and I began to see if it was the exact same bottle.
Turns out it wasn't. Same front, except instead of listing E.C. DeWitt, a major company in the day, it said John & Kennedy Co. out of Chicago.
Theirs was missing the box, though. Both of us are missing the pamphlete.
Likely 1910s for this pine globule medicine. The other difference between ours, other than wording, is that the other one is a hard form (newer) whereas mine held the gelatinous form (older) or this pain, kidney, and bladder medicine.
I picked it up only for the pine tree. LOL.
love the play on words pineules the pictorial labels are just fab SpiritBear
Thank you, Malkey. Tomorrow I will post one with dogs, which was planned before I found out that tomorrow my beloved dog will die.
Great bottle!
my sincere condolences !!!!!!!!
Joey, thank you.

LOL. It's not even a very interesting bottle. I have much better bottles they could have posted. Like my Trojan bottle, or my Fort Dearborn bottle. Their labels are so much more interesting.
I never understood people. They like the junk more than the treasures, even when the treasures are prettier!
Found the 1st but couldn't fine the Fort Dearborn
It's also a perfect example of people not interested in the treasure. This bottle is worth $10-$15. 15 loves.
The Fort Dearborn is a one-of-a-kind, high-quality, pristine example of an even older bottle, with a lesser seen product (grape juice). 6 loves. LOL.
Amusingly, no one collects labeled grape juice bottles of the early 1900s. As such, I got it cheaply. But the graphics are killer for a label before Prohibition ended.

Yeah same with buttons, The ones i post that you can buy anytime for $1 get much love but my pride and joy buttons that often cost several hundred get 3 loves (I never pay near so much but wait until a great buy pops up) Love that Grape Juice bottle!!!
LOL. It amuses me every time.
Yes, the grape juice is superior. Better than 80% of labeled bottles out there from the time.
